DAY 1
Arrive & Settle
A private transfer from the airport, the house opened and stocked to your taste, and a first dinner cooked by your chef while you find your feet. Nothing to plan; everything already done.
DAY 2
The City Gently
A slow start, then Table Mountain by cableway on a clear morning - or Kirstenbosch Gardens if the cloud is in - a long lunch on the Atlantic Seaboard, and sundowners on Signal Hill as the city lights come on.
DAY 3
Winelands by air
A helicopter over the mountains to Franschhoek, a private cellar tasting, and a long lunch at an estate such as Delaire Graff or La Petite Colombe - home over the peninsula as the afternoon softens.
DAY 4
Ocean & Ease
A private boat charter in the morning - sundowners on deck, or the whales in season - then a spa afternoon at the house, and dinner at La Colombe, the forested Constantia table.
DAY 5
The Peninsula
A chauffeured day south: Chapman's Peak along the cliffs, Cape Point where the oceans seem to meet, the penguins at Boulders, and a seafood lunch at Kalk Bay harbour on the way home.
DAY 6
As little or as much
A day that is entirely yours - a morning on Clifton's coves, a guided Lion's Head hike, or the galleries and boutiques of the city - closing with a chef's table at FYN, or a quiet dinner at home.
